Since the 26th of Aprill last I marryed a wife wch. Is the only excise I can plead for not writing to you sooner however this is the first fault and shall be more diligent hereafter.

We find ourselves not able to rebuild our Church therefore are only resolved to Enlarge it For which purpose The Timber is daily brought to the place, as also the Briscks abd the Foundation will be raised this week to the Watter Table after which we Shall let it Settle for 2 or 3 months

The Revd. Mr. Thompson officiates at Pon Pon very much to the Satisfactions of the Inhabitants there both Church and Dissenters

Nothwithstanding Atheism & infidelity is brought over to us as fast as new goods yet thank God I loose no ground in my Parish, & it is as Regular at least as any in the province.

I had at Whitsunday last 25 white Communicants & 17 black and at Christmas 31 & 19 black.

Baptized Since March last 9 white Children a white boy about [9?] years old a Mollotto woman & 2 of her Children
