A Covering Party

One capt. 2 subalterns, 2 sergeants, and 50 rank and file, from the 1 st regiment, and 1 capt. 2 subalterns, 2 sergeants, and 50 rank and file, from the 2d regiment, hold themselves in readiness to take post on Sullivan's Island, there to remain as a covering party to the men, who were to be employed on the Island in building a fascine battery.”
